SILVER LINE SPECIALIST UPDATE – Take a Walk to My Favorite Hot Spots Near the NEW Tysons Corner Station

Let Stansfield Signature be your Silver Line Specialist! Check us out for info about the NEW Silver Line Metro stops!

Phase I of the Silver Line, scheduled for passengers to start boarding this winter, extends metro service from the Orange Line in Falls Church to 5 new stops: McLean, Tysons Corner, Greensboro, Spring Hill and Weihle-Reston. While this means big business for companies looking to expand in Northern Virginia, it also means that some of my favorite shops, restaurants and entertainment (word choice?) are now just a short walk away!

For this week’s edition of the Silver Line Specialist, let’s take a walk! Check out my 5 favorite things within walking distance of the new Tysons Corner station!

AMC Tysons Corner 16 – In the mood for a movie? Get off the metro and head across the street to the AMC Tysons Corner 16, located at 1961 Chain Bridge Rd in the Tysons Corner Center (Tysons I). The AMC at Tysons Corner not only offers 16 screens of “Just-In” movie hits, but also boasts IMAX and Real D 3D theaters! Whether you’re having a date night, family fun night, or an after work break with co-workers, the AMC is just steps from the new metro stop!

Saks Fifth Avenue at Tysons Galleria (Tysons II) – For those of you looking to add a little elegance to your lives, check out the Saks Fifth Avenue at out Tysons II. The Women’s Apparel floor features some of my favorites including Diane Von Furstenberg, Tori Burch, and Ralph Lauren. And of course, I cannot forget to mention the amazing Saks Beauty Department, which carries the best of high-end makeup, fragrances, and skin care, like Keihls, YSL and La Mer.

Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa – If you don’t mind walking a little farther from the new metro stop, Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa is one of my all time favorite ultimate indulgences! Located at 8075 Leesburg Pike, #110, this health and beauty day spa features an extensive menu of luxury services including “rejuvenating skin care treatments, soothing massage therapy, facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, makeup artistry as well as a full-service hair salon.” I highly recommend the Signature Massage!

Tiffany & Company – This list would not be complete without a nod to the blue box. Tiffany & Company is located right on Leesburg Pike in Fairfax Square, about a 10-15 minute walk from the new Tysons metro. Whether you’re looking for a special gift or something to spoil yourself, Tiffany & Co is now just a short walk from the new Tysons Metro. Gentlemen take note ;)

Café Deluxe – Café Deluxe, located at 1800 International Drive West, is one of my favorite places to meet up with friends and clients for a weekday lunch. During the week, Café Deluxe is the go-to lunch spot for businessmen from the surrounding companies, friends meeting hallway between McLean and Vienna, and anyone who loves an eclectic and reasonably priced menu! Best of all, Café Deluxe is now just a 5-minute walk from the Tysons Corner metro! FYI: The fire-roasted tomato soup is to die for!
